How to verify the specifications and parameters of small-scale organic fertilizer equipment? Sort out each of the four types of raw material scenarios item by item

The maintenance of small-scale organic fertilizer production lines often has a greater impact on actual output than selection. The same set of equipment operates in scenarios involving chicken manure, pig manure, cow manure, or sludge, with completely different wear patterns and maintenance rhythms. If only operated according to the unified instructions, the granulation qualification rate may decrease in mild cases, and the fermentation cycle may be prolonged and energy consumption may increase in severe cases. Below are four common breeding scenarios, and the focus of maintenance and upkeep will be identified item by item.

Scenes involving high nitrogen and high viscosity materials such as chicken manure. The moisture content of chicken manure fluctuates greatly, and the viscosity of the fermented material is strong, which can easily cause problems in the granulation process. The first thing to consider for daily maintenance is the sieve mesh of the crusher and the mold of the granulator: if the sieve mesh is blocked by more than 30% of the holes, the particle size of the discharged material will be uneven; If there is any sticking on the roller surface of the roller extrusion granulator, it is necessary to clean and check the gap between the scraper blades in a timely manner. For this type of material, targeted design has been made on the agitator granulator, with a granulation qualification rate of over 92%. However, the prerequisite is to clean the agitator teeth and inner wall residue after each shift, otherwise the wall sticking will gradually increase. In addition, it is recommended to inspect the pipeline filter element of the deodorization process on a weekly basis to avoid ammonia corrosion.

Small scale scenes of pig manure. Small pig manure production lines ranging from 500 to 5000 tons per year have flexible configurations and investment return periods of 18 to 24 months. These production lines usually operate in one or two shifts, with frequent equipment start-up and shutdown. The focus of maintenance is on the gearbox and bearings: frequent starting and stopping can have a significant impact on the gearbox, so it is necessary to replace the lubricating oil according to the operating hours rather than calendar days. The turning machine is the core of pig manure fermentation, and the hydraulic system of trough or wheel turning machines should be regularly inspected for oil pipe joints. Oil leakage can cause insufficient turning depth, and the composting cycle can be extended from seven to ten days to more than two weeks.

Scene of high humidity materials such as cow manure. Cow manure fiber is coarse and has a high moisture content, making direct granulation difficult. It usually requires an integrated drying and granulation process. The thermal energy utilization rate of the dryer can reach 85%, and the energy consumption is about 15% lower than the industry standard. However, these data are based on the intact insulation layer of the cylinder and the absence of air leakage in the hot air pipeline. The insulation layer and sealing ring should be checked once a month, as heat leakage can directly increase fuel costs. The hammer blades of the semi wet material crusher wear out faster in cow manure scenarios than in chicken manure scenarios. It is recommended to check the thickness of the hammer blades every two weeks, and replace or adjust the surface if the wear exceeds one-third.

Scene of sludge and mixed materials. This type of material has complex composition and significant differences in corrosiveness. The corrosion-resistant design of the body and sensor protection are key factors. The PLC control cabinet should be regularly dusted, as the accumulation of dust can cause sensor signal drift and a decrease in measurement accuracy. The measurement accuracy of the core equipment can reach level II, but if the weighing sensor is damp or accumulates dust, the accuracy will drop to level III or even lower. It is recommended to calibrate the measuring system once every quarter and check the anti-corrosion coating of the parts in contact with the materials.

In addition to distinguishing by scenario, there are several general maintenance rhythms worth fixing. Clean up the granulation area, crushing area, and residual conveyor belt after daily shift; Check the oil level, bearing temperature, and belt tension of the reducer every week; Monthly inspection of vulnerable parts such as screens, hammers, molds, etc; Calibrate the measurement system quarterly and test the motor insulation. The annual maintenance cost usually accounts for 3% to 5% of the total equipment price, which is more easily underestimated in small organic fertilizer equipment because of the small number of single machines and thin spare parts inventory. Once the equipment is shut down, the losses are even greater.

The supply cycle of accessories is also an easily overlooked item in the maintenance account. If vulnerable parts cannot be delivered in a timely manner, the production line will have to stop and wait. When choosing a solution, attention can be paid to the suppliers ability to respond to parts, such as controlling the parts cycle within 72 hours, responding to faults within 24 hours within the province, and visiting outside the province within 48 hours. Such service commitments are particularly practical for continuous production lines. Motor reducers usually come with a one-year warranty, but vulnerable parts outside the warranty scope still need to be stocked reasonably.

Modular combination devices are becoming increasingly common in small-scale scenarios. The advantage is that single machine failures do not affect the entire line, and maintenance can also be carried out by rotating modules. Reduced initial investment and allowed maintenance work to be carried out in units. However, modularity does not mean maintenance free, and the connection and transportation equipment between each unit also need to be included in the inspection table.

To sum up, there is no unified template for the maintenance of small organic fertilizer production line, and the core is to formulate the patrol rhythm according to the characteristics of raw materials and scenarios: chicken manure targeting stickiness and deodorization, pig manure targeting reducer and turning hydraulic pressure, cow manure targeting drying, heat preservation and hammering, sludge targeting corrosion prevention and metering calibration. Fixing daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly actions into a table is more cost-effective than post repair work and can better stabilize the two key indicators of granulation qualification rate and maturation cycle.
