Scientific and reasonable fermentation can enhance the production of disease-resistant organic matter. During the fermentation process, accompanied by the massive proliferation of microorganisms and a series of complex biochemical reactions, microorganisms generate a large number of metabolic substances, such as hormones, antibiotics, and auto-immune materials. These substances promote rapid growth and development of crops, inhibit the spread of soil-borne diseases, and improve the crops resistance to diseases and stress. In contrast, organic fertilizers not only lack the aforementioned benefits but also become a primary source of crop diseases due to the viruses and bacteria they carry. Today, Tai an Hongxin Environmental Protection introduces the precautions for using organic fertilizer fermentation turners, hoping to be helpful to everyone.
Ensure proper ventilation and oxygen supply at the bottom of the fermentation platform;
The height of the compost pile for farmyard manure should be 0.8–1.5 meters, with a width of 1.5–2.0 meters being ideal. The length can be adjusted based on the amount of manure available. A compost pile that is too small hinders temperature rise, fermentation, and thorough decomposition.
3. If the farmyard manure has been stored for too long or there is excessive straw, fresh manure should be added during fermentation for adjustment;
4. Cover the piled manure with a layer to prevent surface drying, ensuring the farm manure can fully ferment;
5. Naturally fermented farm manure requires appropriate adjustments before secondary fermentation. Tips for processing and fermenting organic fertilizer raw materials: (1) Fermentation with weeds and crop residues (takes about 25 days to decompose): - Chop or shred weeds and crop residues (generally to 3-5 cm in length). - Use 40% fecal water or biogas residue/liquid for adjustment. - Alternatively, apply 2% urea (46% nitrogen content) or nitrogen-containing compound fertilizers in equal ratios. - Fresh livestock manure can also be added in a weight ratio of 3:1 to 4:1 for adjustment. (2) Fermentation with pure manure (takes about 20 days to decompose): - Add shredded or chopped weeds and crop residues for fermentation. - Maintain optimal moisture content at around 60%. - Common addition ratios for fermentation adjustment: 3:1 to 4:1. (3) Fermentation with stable manure (takes about 15 days to decompose): - Directly expand the microbial culture volume, spread it evenly in the barn, stir briefly, and pile it on the fermentation platform. Repeat the process as needed. - If moisture is too high, add an appropriate amount of dry shredded auxiliary material in the barn for adjustment.
