Organic fertilizers
(NY-525-2021) - The industry standard for total nutrients is greater than or equal to 4, with 5, 10, and 12 nutrients commonly found in the market. Organic matter must be greater than or equal to 30%. Ph5.5-8.5 refers to carbon containing organic materials that are mainly derived from plants and/or animals and have been fermented and decomposed. Their function is to improve soil fertility, provide plant nutrition, and enhance crop quality. Suitable for organic fertilizers made from animal manure, animal and plant residues, and animal and plant products that have been fermented and matured.
● Microbial agents
The corresponding standard for microbial agents is "Agricultural Microbial Agents GB20287-2006", which includes two categories of products: agricultural microbial agents and organic material composting agents. The main technical indicators of agricultural microbial agents are: effective viable cell count (cfu), billion/g (mL) ≥ 2.0 (particles ≥ 1.0); The quantity of each effective bacterium in the composite microbial agent shall not be less than 0.01 billion/g (mL); The effective viable bacterial count in powder products made from a single Bacillus subtilis is not less than 120 million/g. Agricultural microbial agents have requirements for impurity rates, with liquid ≤ 10%, powder ≤ 20%, and particles ≤ 30%. The moisture content of powder should be ≤ 35%, and the moisture content of particles should be ≤ 20%.
● Bio organic fertilizer
The corresponding standard for bio organic fertilizer is "Bio Organic Fertilizer NY 884-2012". Bio organic fertilizer refers to a type of fertilizer that combines microbial fertilizer and organic fertilizer effects, which is composed of specific functional microorganisms and organic materials mainly derived from animal and plant residues (such as livestock and poultry manure, crop straw, etc.) that have been treated harmlessly and decomposed. Its main technical indicators are: effective viable cell count (cfu), billion/g ≥ 0.2; Organic matter (on a dry basis),% ≥ 40%; Moisture content ≤ 30%.
The standard for composite microbial fertilizers is "Composite Microbial Fertilizer NY/T 798-2015". Compound microbial fertilizer refers to live microbial products that are composed of specific microorganisms and nutrients, which can provide, maintain or improve plant nutrition, increase agricultural product yield or improve agricultural product quality. Its main technical indicators are: effective viable cell count (cfu), billion/g (mL) ≥ 0.2 (liquid ≥ 0.5); Compound microbial fertilizers containing two or more microorganisms must have a minimum effective bacterial count of 0.01 billion/g (mL) for each type. Total nutrients (N+P2O5+K2O), liquid 6% -20%; Solid 8% -25%. Heres one more thing, the total nutrients should not exceed 25%. Although there is no clear provision in the standard, the management department currently follows this standard for implementation. After the revision of the next version of the standard, corresponding data should appear. Compound microbial fertilizers also have requirements for impurity rate, with liquid ≤ 15% and powder and particle ≤ 30%. The moisture content of powder should be ≤ 35%, and the moisture content of particles should be ≤ 20%.
Based on the comparison of the definitions and corresponding technical indicators of the three products, the following differences can be clearly seen:
① Organic matter content: The organic matter content requirements for organic fertilizers (≥ 45%) and biological organic fertilizers (≥ 40%) have clear regulations on the content of organic matter, while microbial agents do not have clear regulations.
② Effective viable bacteria count: Organic fertilizers (20 million cells/gram) and microbial agents have clear regulations on the effective viable bacteria count, with higher requirements for microbial agents. However, organic fertilizers do not have specific requirements for adding functional microorganisms during the production process.
③ Validity period: Bioorganic fertilizers and microbial agents have clear expiration dates, mainly because the functional microorganisms added to the product have a specific effective time. If the microorganisms become inactive, they will not have or reduce the corresponding functions and effects of the product.
The main functional focuses of the four fertilizers are different
① Organic fertilizer focuses on increasing soil organic matter and improving soil fertility;
② Microbial agents focus on microorganisms, which do not possess or have a small amount of nutrients, and are mainly used as carriers for microorganisms. They mainly rely on the physiological metabolic activities of microorganisms to promote the release of organic fertilizers, chemical fertilizers, and mineral nutrients in the soil. The secondary metabolites of microorganisms contain a lot of amino acids, hormones, and other substances, which can effectively improve crop quality, enhance crop resistance, and also inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the soil, regulating soil physicochemical properties.
③ Bio organic fertilizer is a product that combines the effects of microbial fertilizers and organic fertilizers, containing both functional microorganisms and a certain amount of organic matter and nutrients.
④ Compound microbial fertilizer is a product that combines the effects of microbial fertilizer, organic fertilizer, and inorganic fertilizer. It contains both functional microorganisms and a certain amount of organic matter and inorganic nutrients.
