Drying equipment is a commonly used equipment in fertilizer production lines, as fertilizers must remove excess moisture before packaging in order to facilitate subsequent packaging and storage. In the entire organic fertilizer production line, the organic fertilizer dryer can be considered as one of the large-scale equipment. Whether in terms of equipment appearance or energy consumption, it plays a crucial role. Therefore, improving the working efficiency of the drying equipment is very important for energy conservation and yield increase in fertilizer production.

So how to improve the drying efficiency of organic fertilizer dryer? Of course, it is best to fully utilize thermal energy to dry materials. In practical applications, there are many types of heat sources for dryers, from coal in the past to natural gas now, all of which can provide good thermal energy. We can obtain more heat energy in the heating part here by increasing the fuel or enlarging the burner model. However, sometimes we may find that even if the temperature at the head of the dryer is high, the temperature at the discharge port is low, and the temperature of the fertilizer in the hand is not high, still giving a damp feeling. Why is this?

The heat converted by the burner accumulates at the head of the dryer. Next, we need to find a way to guide this heat energy towards the end of the drum, filling the entire drum with heat during this process. The induced draft fan used in conjunction with the drying equipment can not only extract heat to the discharge end, but also take away most of the dust and collect it for continued granulation production. Different models of dryers are matched with fans of different air volumes, with larger models having larger air volumes and higher efficiency.

When the organic fertilizer dryer and induced draft fan are working, we also need to pay attention to whether there is any air leakage. This not only fails to extract the hot air that should be extracted, but also draws in a large amount of cold air, resulting in wasted heat energy and ineffective drying. At this point, it is necessary to check the sealing condition of the exhaust system, repair some loopholes, and prevent interference from external cold air. Practice has proven that these measures are highly effective.
